It was drawn in celebration of Jean Ann Hyder. She was a second mother to the founder of Peri Arts.
Jean was a strong and caring mother. She loved hearts and the color red. She was fierce like a dragon, while also unafraid of showing tough love! The Heartmail is a shield made of heart scales that embodies Jeans strength and love.
